Being the official on-line TV partner for the Scottish Golf Union and clubgGolf Scotland, the company's reputation in internet sport broadcasting is growing. Fashion is the next aim and Spotlight has teamed up with Julie Hannah, celebrity stylist and Daily Record fashion expert, to produce “Julie’s fashion file”, in addition to launching its own Scottish Wedding Channel.
The UK market in general is quickly becoming aware of the Spotlight advantage, with a number of London firms ranging from solicitors through property and finance to call centres taking advantage of the company's online TV channels.

Dr John Rogers
John took up appointment as Director of Research and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Stirling in January 2006. Previously he worked at the University of Manchester, where he was involved in the 2004 merger between UMIST and the Victoria of Manchester. At Manchester, John also had responsibility for student recruitment and admissions, international recruitment and relations, public relations and research and graduate support. He was Head of the Research Office in the new University of Manchester prior to joining Stirling.
John was the manager of the national 2001 Research Assessment Exercise, working on behalf of the four UK higher education funding bodies, based at the Higher Education Funding Council for England in Bristol and London. His earlier career was spent at the University of Aberdeen, in strategic planning, faculty management and student administration roles.
John has worked extensively on international higher education management and development projects, and is a regular conference and workshop presenter in the UK and overseas on research policy and management and wider higher education issues.
Street League
Street League transforms the lives of disadvantaged young people and adults in the UK using the power of sport. It achieves this through a structured football and education programme that helps to build confidence, improve health, extend social networks, and develop skills towards long-term education, employment and independence. Street League has vast experience of using sport to engage and motivate the most hard-to-reach people in our society to move them towards positive lifestyles and long-term career opportunities.
The organisation currently works in London, Glasgow and Newcastle, with more than 1000 people taking part in its programme each year. Street League is committed to furthering the use of sport and football as a tool for social improvement on a global level, and in the coming years aims to set up new projects in other cities so that more people and communities can benefit.
